㈜드림풋볼이 주최 및 주관을 맡고, (재)양구군스포츠재단이 후원한 ‘제3회 청춘양구 드림풋볼 전국 유소년 축구 페스티벌’이 성황리에 막을 내렸다.
이번 대회는 양구종합운동장과 B, C 보조경기장 등에서 동시에 진행됐으며 U8세부터 U12세까지의 유소년 선수들의 경기로 구성되어 연령별 조별예선과 클래식, 챌린지 본선으로 나뉘어 펼쳐졌다. 이날 제2회 싸커맘 풋볼매치로 참가선수 엄마들로 구성된 6팀이 참가해 대회를 즐겼다.
또한 참가 선수들과 관계자, 주최측 등 약 2500~3000명에 달하는 인원들이 양구군을 달궜으며, 서흥원 강원도 양구군수가 현장을 방문해 자리를 빛냈다.
서흥원 양구군수는 앞선 한 인터뷰에서 “양구군에 대회 참가팀과 전지훈련팀이 많이 찾아오는 만큼 착실한 대회 운영과 관련 서비스 제공으로 도시이미지와 위상을 높여 나가겠다”며 “관광과 농특산물 등과 연계한 지역경기 활성화에도 더욱 신경 써나가겠다”고 말했다.
㈜드림풋볼의 최소영 대표는 “안전하고 건강한 유소년 축구 및 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다. 다양한 협약과 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 이벤트를 통한 대회 운영과 유치를 성공적으로 마무리하고 싶다”며 지속적인 행보를 약속했다.
