지난 11월 26일(토)부터 27일(일)까지 양일간 드림풋볼이 주최 및 주관을 맡고, 홍천군과 홍천군 체육회가 후원한 ‘제1회 홍천군 드림풋볼 전국 유소년 축구 페스티벌’이 성공적으로 마무리됐다.
이번 대회는 홍천군종합운동장과 홍천읍 생활체육공원 축구장, 북방 생활체육공원 축구장, 영귀미면 생활체육공원 축구장 등에서 동시에 진행됐다. 각 구장에서는 초등부 1학년부터 6학년까지 유소년 선수들의 경기가 연령별 조별예선과 클래식, 챌린지 본선으로 나뉘어 펼쳐졌다.
또한 많은 이벤트와 스폰서십 체결을 통한 혜택 등 다양한 수단을 통해 대회의 질을 끌어올렸다. 국가대표 축구선수 출신 정성룡과 박상록 홍천군체육회장이 현장을 방문해 자리를 빛내며 환영사와 시상식에 참석하는 등 어린 선수들과 사진 촬영 및 격려를 통해 추억을 제공했다.
㈜드림풋볼 최소영 대표는 “안전하고 건강한 유소년 축구 및 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다. 다양한 협약과 전략적 제휴를 통해 위드 코로나 시대의 대회 운영과 유치를 성공적으로 마무리하고 싶다”고 전했다. 이어 “유명 축구선수의 등장으로 대회의 열기를 한층 끌어올린 ㈜드림풋볼은 홍천군과의 첫 대회를 성황리에 마쳤다. ㈜드림풋볼과 홍천군과의 재회가 기대되는 이유다”라고 덧붙였다.
